Two minutes walk down the road is the famous Trenance Gardens, the boating lake and riding stables. Further on, is the famous Gannel Estuary with all of its bird life.

The Rockery is in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. There is no need to use your car unless you wish to visit the many wonders of Cornwall. Situated across the road is the leisure centre with swimming and fun pools, crazy golf, pitch and putt, Newquay Zoo, tennis courts, children's play area and bowling green.
Two minutes walk up the road is the start of Newquays beaches including Tolcarne and Great Western, with Towan Harbour and Fistral beach no more than 10 minutes walk away.
If you love walking then you are in the perfect location for a Walking Holiday with miles of cliff top walks and the Gannel Estuary with its many species of wildlife.
Also on your doorstep are the many pubs, bars and restaurants Newquay has to offer.
Newquay train and bus station are both within walking distance, and Newquay also has an airport, allowing you easy access to the area by a variety of means.
Directions
From the A30 turn off onto the A392 sign-posted to Newquay.
From the A392 to Quintrell Downs roundabout, turn right over the level crossing – direction Newquay East/Porth.
Proceed to the Porth Four Turnings (two mini-roundabouts and ¾ mile to Newquay town centre). Continue along the road, you will reach a mini roundabout, turn left into Hillgrove Road and follow it down over the next mini roundabout. On your left you will see the entrance to Newquay Zoo, The Rockery is directly opposite.
If you pass under the viaduct you have gone to far!
